Melody Moore joins the New Century Chamber Orchestra as a special guest artist on their biggest concert event of the season. In celebration of 25 years of music-making, the “Silver Jubilee” is an all–Gershwin extravaganza featuring Ms. Moore and baritone Efrain Solis in selected songs, pianist Anne Marie-McDermott in the seldom-heard theater orchestra version of Rhapsody in Blue and the suite from An American in Paris. Music Director Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg leads the performance on May 20 at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco.
